First Steps!

Gregg is walking!!! Prais the Lord Gregg is walking! Gregg is now up in the Recovery ward on the fourth floor. This is Boot Camp! They have Gregg up and working for 5 hours a day doing physical and ocupational therapy. This has been a bit hard due to Gregg's pain level. As of yesterday (Wednesday) they changed his meds to help more with the pain. It is hard to deal with the pain when they keep giving you the stuff that does not work! But he is doing much better. He is also sleeping though the night!!! Gregg's white count is still low, but it is not droping, that is very good news. Also they did a scan and so far no blood clots!
Thank you everyone for viseting. He is usually done with OT and PT by mid afternoon so come on by! Gregg and I love to see familiar faces.
Gregg says "Hi" and "Thank you for coming to see me".
please feel free to call or even e-mail us at Gregg.Kathleen@gmail.com. If we do not answer the phone just leave a message!
We will hopfully be on more often to keep you all up to date on his recovery. We will be here for a couple more weeks.
